Candidate must have expertise in Database Administration (MySQL, Cassandra, Postgress SQL, Couch Base etc.)
Good Experience in Automation through scripts and other means (tools etc.)
Candidates should have good understanding of IT Infrastructure Service Operational Management and should have well versed with ITIL processes. He / She should have a very good understanding Continuous Service Improvement Programs.
Must have experience in working in Onsite / Offshore Service Model and should be able to deliver Services from global Delivery locations located in India and USA.
Must have experience in Client Interaction
Should have worked in 24x7 support environment and know how.
Excellent communication both oral & written
At least One of the following Skills is desirable
Good experience in Network (F5 LB, SourceFire, Checkpoint FW, Cisco 9k etc.)
Good understanding of Storage / VxRack / Compute etc
OS Administration: Linux / Unix / Windows / VMWare Server Administration.
Platform as a Service (PaaS) Administration involving Kafka, Hadoop, Forgerock, OpenShit, Cloud Red, ELK, Tomcat , Cassandra etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide technical solutions for complex issues and ensure the timeliness of closure of tasks
Bring in a very high-level of automation, within the environments they are supporting, to make it self-sustaining, and reduce dependency on resource based resolutions, Knowledge transfer etc.
Work closely with Onsite Team for shift handovers, faster Resolution of Critical tickets.
Support multiple technologies
Work on technical solutions for the technology areas he/she is responsible for
Metrics Reporting and tracking for his/her Service group
Work on Critical Incidents / Standard with priority until closed.
Provide Root Cause Analysis for Problem tickets / Critical and High Priority Incidents.
Participate the Change Management meetings, RCA meetings
Work closely with other support groups.
